Petroleum D-5 is used in some cases of disorders of the central nervous and vegetative systems, diseases of the skin and mucous membranes, and gastrointestinal ailments. It is used to treat chronic conjunctivitis, clefts at the corners of the mouth, the bases of the ears and the wings of the nose, on the nipples and in the anus. It is recommended in conditions of head congestion, memory impairment, hallucinations, nausea, vomiting, motion sickness, gastrointestinal indigestion, diarrhea with mucus and blood. It soothes scratching and the feeling of dryness of the nasal mucosa, throat and larynx. It is also used in eczema and dry skin rashes.

Dosage

• Orally: 3 times a day, 15 drops per tablespoon of water on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2-3 hours after eating). Use for 4-5 weeks.

Stosowany jest w leczeniu przewlekłych zapaleń spojówek, rozpadlin w kącikach ust, podstaw małżowin usznych i skrzydełek nosa, na brodawkach sutkowych i w odbycie. Zalecany jest w stanach przekrwień głowy, osłabienia pamięci, halucynacji, mdłości, wymiotów, choroby lokomocyjnej, niestrawności żołądkowo-jelitowych, biegunek ze śluzem i krwią. Łagodzi drapanie i uczucie suchości błony śluzowej nosa, gardła i krtani. Stosowany jest także na egzemy, suche wysypki skórne.

Dawkowanie

• Doustnie 3 razy dziennie po 15 kropli na łyżkę stołową wody, 1 godzinę przed lub 2-3 godziny po jedzeniu. Stosować przez 4-5 tygodni.
• Zewnętrznie Nacierać obolałe miejsca.
